The Turkish Animal Group (T.A.G.)

This group is very dear to my heart for so many reasons. T.A.G is a very special rescue group.
I never went to Turkey but I went on holidays to different places where I was feeding stray cats and dogs and it was killing me to leave them. Karen and T.A.G are doing this wonderful thing :rescuing stray cats and dogs ,feeding them, taking care of them and having them adopted. How beautiful is that? This is something that I sincerely admire and support with all my heart. Karen has devoted her life to rescue stray dogs and cats.Everyone at T.A.G is so involved and this is truly admirable. They need our support . this is with our donations that they can take care of the little street dogs and cats.
This is Karen:

I will never forget how Karen wanted to help me when my cat was sick. This will stay in my heart forever. Karen is a genuine animal lover. She dedicated her life to help dogs in Turkey.
T.A.G’s mission is to rescue sick, stray, injured and starving animals from the streets of Turkey and to rehome these animals to loving homes throughout the world.
T.A.G. is also committed to promoting trap, neuter and release programs throughout Turkey as well as helping to educate Turkish animal shelters in the proper care of its animals. They rehabilitate, rehome, neuter, give medical treatment to so many animals.

The Turkish Animal Group (T.A.G.) is a registered charity (their number is 1148352 ) based in Turkey and United Kingdom.
How T.A.G started:
T.A.G. was founded by Karen Wren after she visited Turkey for the first time in 2002 when she witnessed the horrific living conditions animals were forced to deal with in Turkey day in and day out. From that day forward, Karen knew that the rest of her life would be committed to helping the animals of Turkey.
They have their own private shelter set up to rehabilitate, rehome, neuter, give medical treatment to so many animals.

Karen now, with help from Trustee’s Mustafa, Denise, Linda and Margaret, plus their worker Dunay, Volunteer Admins Kerry ,Sharon,Tracey and Sam help run this amazing charity. After a lot of hard work, Turkish Animal Group became a UK Registered Charity in June of 2012 and they struggle ever single week to feed the 78 dogs they have at their shelter,
dogs they rescued with broken bones, motherless pups, mum with pups, mange, road traffic accidents and ones that simply cannot cope on the streets. They also have 4 dogs and 2 pups in foster and 3 cats in foster homes, plus they also have 2 dogs in boarding kennels as their shelter is full!

Their fundraising is absolutely fantastic and this is a wonderful way to help. I have found adorable items on the auctions page. You are helping the dogs and cats and at the same time you are treating yourself with cute lovely items. I love everything that I have bought from TAG. And those items are even more precious become they remind me that I have been a part of the rescue and this is warming my heart.

It would be lovely if you could help T.A.G .They deserve it, they work tirelessly to feed and care for the many stray, neglected and abused street dogs and cats in Turkey, they transport them to and from the vets for treatment and neutering, they find foster for cats as the shelter is for dogs.
By donating or buying items on the fundraising page, you become a part of this rescue. You help feeding the dogs and even though you are not in person in Turkey, you are helping rescuing little dogs in Turkey. How awesome is that?
